Another week gone by ... already!

I guess I shouldn’t complain since they say that time flies when you’re having fun!  I have been trying to keep up with my painting and drawing everyday, but think I missed 2 days this past week.

Anyway, I started an abstract about three days ago. I forgot to take a photo after the first layer but following is the result after my second layer. I actually really like it. Hubby and my son said they liked it as well so I think I need to let it be for a bit and see how I feel in a week or so.

... when you’re having fun! Life seems to be moving real fast right about now and don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining, that’s just the way it seems for now. Although my arm is still messed up and even more so now since I took a fall today on a hike with my hubby, I have been painting and drawing ... just not posting here regularly. Here’s one of my most recent favorites: Three Peonies, 16 x 20 acrylic on canvas This painting started as an abstract and I just kept on adding layer on top of layer. Floral abstract and drawings

Wow!  It’s been a couple of weeks since I posted here. Been busy with life but I have been drawing and painting as well. Been concentrating on flowers and floral things of late with the first Spring blooms finally popping up around the neighborhood.
