We hosted family for Easter again this year and I have been doing a lot of Spring cleaning as we are getting a new garage soon.  I have been trying to doodle and paint as well ... I just want to get all those household things done first.  Anyway ... I bought a couple of linen canvas recently at Hobby Lobby because they were so cheap and I’ve never painted on linen before.  I started with a wash of lavender on one and set it aside. A couple of nights ago I just started adding random marks and patches of pink, purple, orange and white. Last night I decided to cover all that up and painted this beach scene, 9 x 12 on linen. Wow!  It’s been a couple of weeks since I posted here. Been busy with life but I have been drawing and painting as well. Been concentrating on flowers and floral things of late with the first Spring blooms finally popping up around the neighborhood.
